Getting Started With Ucard

Background

The USWU UCard is an application created by the United Service Workers Union for its members and its affiliates' members. Members of the International Union of Journeymen and Allied Trades or the Home Healthcare Workers of America also have access to these applications.

UCard is available on both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. There is also a web application available at https://ucard.uswu.org for those that prefer a desktop experience or do not currently have a smartphone.

The UCard web application and smartphone apps offer identical features except for creating the electronic membership card. Creating and viewing electronic membership cards are exclusive to smartphone applications at this time.

UCard allows members to:

• Create an electronic membership card with a picture.

• View Current and Past Employments

• Manage Contact Information

• Manage Welfare Fund Dependent Information

• Manage Security Fund and Life Insurance Beneficiary Information

• View Security Fund Account Information

• View and Share Medical Insurance Card

• View Important Medical Insurance Information

• Take Advantage of the U-Benefit Program.

• Receive important information from the Union via "push" notifications.

• "Job Line" for Local 363 and HVAC Association Members.

The UCard application gives real-time access to your important membership information from the Union.

Getting Started

Registration

The UCard application assumes that you are a member in good standing with the USWU, IUJAT, or HHWA. If the aforementioned Unions have never enrolled you, you will not be able to register for UCard. Please contact the enrollment department if you need assistance at 718-658-4848 or [e-mail]

After you have tapped on "Register New Account," fill in the following fields 

Enter your username, password, password, phone number, and then your first and last name as well as the last four of your SSN to complete your registration. If you get an error registering, please send an email to [e-mail] and someone will assist you.
